Write a 100-word max story in any genre, including the following three words: swiftly, clock, whisper.
500-Word Flash Fiction
Write a 500-word max story in any genre. Include the following elements:
Location: Somewhere entirely silent
Item: A spare car key
Character: Someone who is attempting to escape a self-imposed routine
Feel free to get creative with how you include the elements. The story doesn’t have to be trapped in the location, for example. The way you interpret the character summary can be as unconventional as you like.
Just make sure you touch on each.
1,200-Word Flash Fiction
Use the following situation as a starting point for a 1,200-word max short story.
Write a story where a single, seemingly trivial object becomes a perfect metaphor for the main character’s most significant regret or fear. The story should focus on the character’s interaction with the object.
Happy writing, you lovely weirdos!
